Mustaches for Kids Baltimore was founded in 2008, and set a national Mustache record for best inaugural Growing season. In our first year, we raised over $23,000 and positively impacted over 11,000 Baltimore City Public Schools students! To date we’ve raised over $200,000 funding teacher submitted projects! Not bad for a bunch of guys in mustaches.
Looking for a way to give back this holiday season? Throughout October, the Maryland Food Bank’s Pack to Give Back campaign will offer Marylanders the chance to take part in a holiday giving event like no other. With your help, the Maryland Food Bank aims to put the staples of a holiday feast—turkey, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and sweet potatoes, to name a few—on the tables of 23,400 food-insecure families.
Run or walk with or without your dog to the 10th Annual BARCStoberfest at Patterson Park on Saturday, October 25 to benefit the 12,000 homeless animals that come to the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) annually. The Ready…Set…Sniff…5K Run/1 Mile Walk, sponsored by Charm City Run, allows participants to either run or walk around Baltimore’s Patterson Park with their 4-legged friends while raising funds for the four-legged animals at BARCS.
Everybody cut loose, Footloose…Kenny Loggins will give a special benefit concert, Friday, November 7th, at The Meyerhoff. The Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and guitarist will perform all your favorites from his remarkable four decade-plus career – including the movie soundtrack hits! Proceeds will directly support Junior Achievement of Central Maryland’s work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy programs, which reach more than 42,000 elementary-through-high school students.
Baltimore Humane Society is placing all odds on Catsino Night, an event to support the care of cats at its no-kill shelter. Bmore Humane has been operating its cattery at full capacity for several years now, and Catsino will help support the care of all those homeless cats on Saturday, November 15th at Grey Rock Mansion with a night of faux gaming. Expect a roll of the dice, an open bar, hearty appetizers, and fun entertainment.

The Baltimore City Association of School Psychologists (BCASP) is a professional organization representing approximately 100 school psychologists who work within Baltimore City’s Public Schools. Each year BCASP holds an annual charity event and raises close to $3,000 for each charity selected.
Make a Difference Day is a national day of Service. Join us at Ambrose Kennedy Park as we continue renovations and beautifications for the youth and families of Johnston Square.
Please join us on October 24th from 7-10pm for our fashion show and fundraiser. Tickets are $40 which includes drinks, food, DJ, live jazz, and a fashion show from the areas best designers and boutiques. Live jazz by Jeron White. Proceeds benefit Sharp Dressed Man.
