Join us on September 13, 2014 to celebrate the 45th birthday of O.J. Brigance at a fundraiser for his organization, the Brigance Brigade Foundation. Friends, family and supporters will gather at Pimlico Race Course to enjoy a 3 ‘ringed’ party featuring food, music, and fun! The event is being held to benefit the Brigance Brigade Foundation, an organization created by O.J. and his wife, Chanda, in 2008 to equip, encourage and empower those battling ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).
Join the Parade and raise funds to benefit Baltimore Humane Society while having fun on our beautiful grounds! Bring your pet, your friends, and your family! Enjoy either a 1-mile or 1.6-mile trail walk through our beautiful 365-acre wildlife sanctuary. Then join the fun and excitement at DogFest!
Mustaches for Kids Baltimore was founded in 2008, and set a national Mustache record for best inaugural Growing season. In our first year, we raised over $23,000 and positively impacted over 11,000 Baltimore City Public Schools students! We “grew” in our second year, raising over $25,000. To date we’ve raised over $200,000 funding teacher submitted projects! See our annual numbers on our homepage. Not bad for a bunch of guys in mustaches!
“Mermaid’s Kiss” is the Oyster Recovery Partnership’s annual fundraiser and awards ceremony. It is a celebration of efforts – past, present and future – to restore the Chesapeake Bay oyster. We celebrate the oyster with friends, food, music and fun. Each year “Mermaid Kiss” showcases fine cuisine from restaurant members of ORP’s Shell Recycling Alliance, beautiful art and jewelry depicting the bay and top music from the region.
The Blue Water Bash is Blue Water Baltimore’s signature fundraising event! The goal of the event is to educate and engage individuals, raise funds, and have a good time. Run or walk with or without your dog to the 10th Annual BARCStoberfest at Patterson Park on Saturday, October 25 to benefit the 12,000 homeless animals that come to the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) annually. The Ready…Set …Sniff …5K Run/1 Mile Walk, sponsored by Charm City Run, allows participants to either run or walk around Baltimore’s Patterson Park with their 4-legged friends while raising funds for the four-legged animals at BARCS. A repeatedly sold out event, Flip Flop Festivus offers an elegant night on the town in a resort casual atmosphere. The evening kicks off with an exclusive VIP reception that features past and present players from the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles and media personalities. Proceeds from Flip Flop Festivus will directly benefit the groundbreaking research to create a diagnostic test for Sarcoidosis, which would save millions in healthcare expenses. They also will support the Life and Breath Foundation’s efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle for patients, including a healthy diet, exercise and increased health awareness.
Participate in the Fort McHenry 5K Tunnel Run/Walk and take advantage of a rare opportunity to walk/run through this unique venue! A $30 donation registers you for the 5K, however, additional fundraising is encouraged to show your support of the thousands of Special Olympics Maryland athletes.
